Matched by Ally Condie

Just finished the book "Matched" I was like- no way is that the end it couldn't just end with so much left unsaid. So I went online and found out that book 2 "crossed" is coming out this fall. I think book two will be good. I'd go into more detail but my sister is reading the book and I don't want to spoil it for her. But I'm excited for book 2.
Even though book one took forever to begin, alot of explaining of how things got the way they did. Plus it was showing how life was and to really get how life works in this book I feel like moving slow was a good idea. But now that things are picking up and things have changhed I think it's open to a good point.

ereader and what i'm looking for in a book

My new Kobo ereader... I'm so spoiled by my hubby.

My ereaders leather case, I only say pink but it's growing on me. Plus if I miss place it, it's easy to spot...lol.

Book's I'm into as of 28 yrs old... Let's see first it's got to have romance, not the raunchy ones with the half naked covers. I like the forbidden love, stolen kissed, and deep conversation types of love stories. Second it's got to be of sci-fi/ fantasy influence. No realistic in the now love story. Cause when in real life does a man ever act like they do in a book romantically (lol)? I guess by reading sci-fi ones it doesn't get my hopes up cause no way do vampires and aliens exist. Third I like there to be a bit of actions the kind that makes you read faster cause you just need to know how it plays out. I'd like it to be a series, I like to know that after this book there's more to the love story. But mostly there has to be a happy ending, no one important should die. It should all be for nothing a happy ending is a must. I don't want to spend money and time on a realistic sad ending. I got enough of that in real life.
So if you know of any books out there like that please please let me know!

Books I'm reading now.

I don't ever read two books at once. My dyslexia is not under complete control, so two books is kinda hard to fallow. So i really do need to pick one and finish that one. See I started to read Matched by Ally Condie. I downloaded this app on my phone for e-reading and ran across this book. Started to read it and not sure if It's grabbed me quite yet. It's kept my interest so I don't want to give up on it just yet.

But then I heard Borders was going out of business and I remember this Christmas time movie Sundays at Tiffany's so I looked up the book.

I found I like to read books that are movies, after the movie came out so the faces don't get mixed up. I read the twilight book before the movie and let's just was Edward was a big disappointment to the amazing face I'd put to that character, boo hooo.

I thinkI'll rtead the Matched book first. Keep your eye out for my updates. this blog is new and I still don't know how i'm gonna keep the blog updates.

vampire academy books by richelle mead

Ok I'm not to sure I like Vampire books so I picked up this one after weeks of looking for the right book. Still with there was a website that could really help you. you know one that gave you all the options and you click the ones you want your book to be about. Then I gave you all the books that fall into those picks. Oh well! I picked this one and liked it.

The host, by stephanie Meyers

Seeing that I love love love the Twilight books, I had to pick up her other book... the host.

100% glad I did!

I feel in love with this book, it's what pushed me to want to read more sci-fi books. Of course the romance is a must and boy did this book have it all, romance, love triangle, action, sci-fi, happy ending, and fantasy. I was so sad when the book ended. Also showing me I love series books, good to know in the future.

Twilight Saga

My older sisters daughter I think like 10, 11 yrs old was reading this book. So my sister wanted to make sure it was appropriate for her age, she read it too. She loved it, told me to read it. My husband was on Molokai for 6 months doing a job. I went to visit him and since Molokai has one high school and one red light on the whole island I knew I'd have a lot of free time, I picked up the first book of the series. With is 3 days of being on my 2 week vaca I was done. I mean I could not put it down even at night. I let my mom read it and she liked it too. When I got home I went straight to the store and bought the next one.

Why I LOVED these books...
I'm all about struggling romances, I love how devoted Edward was to her, I love the strong love, and after reading all the books I loved the tasteful love making scene. I just hope the movies don't botch up the teen books. Most people at the theater are high schoolers and all we need in this world is a over done love making scene to make them more curious.

Sorry side tracked.

I'd recommend this book to anyone who wanted to fall in love with love. Anyone who needed to be hurt and saved by love, to see it through to the happy ending. With Vampire's and Werewolf's of course.

Stephanie Meyers, you da bomb!!

College days

When I first got out of high school I read another John Grisham book, I found that I really liked his books, so far. This was by far my favorite book, The runaway jury. I read it before seeing the movie, I'm glad i did. The movie would have never pushed me to read the book. The book is about smoking kills, way better concept then guns kill. Why John let then change his book is beyond me. When this is by far his best book, i think the movie flopped in comparison.

I stopped reading for a while, finding that parties was a better past time then books. Still struggling to read past my dyslexia. But one day at the mall I went to the book store to see is I could find another John Grisham book, but came across this book. If only it were true, by Marc levy. I'd grown out of the crime, mystery books and into romance happy endings with a sci-fi twist. Later found out that they turned this book into the movie, "Just like Heaven" with Reath Witherspoon. LOVE THE BOOK, and the movie.

Book from high school

I was not into ready at all in high school. See I have this reading disability, dyslexia. It's mild but kicked my but, mostly in math. But it gets worst when I gave to read out loud or get stressed. So in school english and math were not my fav subjects. But I did love one book, I've ready it a few times. The Client by John Grisham

Never ventured out to see if I like any other book. I thought if I had a choice between reading and watching the movie, I'll watch the movie.
